YAPO is a Non Profit Organization which focuses to support children and youth rights and wellbeing. The organization was founded in 2015 by Tanzania Human Rights activist and teachers who put together their enthusiasm and desire to bring about change.
The YAPO emerged spontaneously and in 2016 the organization got her registration under the Ministry of Health Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children. Since her inception YAPO has engaged in the promotion of rights, social economic development and health as the principle of the projects to serve Children, Youth, Women and the Community.
YAPO is committed to raising a generation of young people who leave a lasting legacy in their leadership endeavors. Recognizing the need to impart its network of young people with requisite relevant skills in leadership, YAPO organized a mentorship session and invited MENTEE Global, an organization in the USA dealing with mentorship. Since I am a volunteer at this organization, I joined my other colleges at MENTEE Global in training YAPO network of young people on a wide range of topics including self confidence, personal development, human impact stories among others.
